‘Abandoned Housing Project’ Needs a Statutory Definition?

Assalamualaikum, Salam Ramadhan and Good day,

A good news to interested persons in abandoned housing project.

A new article written by the author has been published by the IIUM Law Journal (International Islamic University Malaysia Law Journal), vol. 6, No. 1, 2008, entitled: ‘The Need to Define ‘Abandoned Housing Project’ in Peninsular Malaysia: An Analysis’.

This article analyses the current definition of ‘abandoned housing project’ as defined by the Division of Enforcement and Supervision, Ministry of Housing and Local Government, Malaysia. The crux of this writing is that, there must be a provision for a legal and statutory definition of ‘abandoned housing project’. The failure to have such a definition, would cause certain problems in the meanings as purportedly envisaged by the current definition.

Happy reading!
